includes an inspectable surge baffle and an inspectable double baffle to trap contaminants by their densities. It is used for trade waste that might contain non-preventable liquids and solids that will either set or float in the tank.

These tanks are essential components of wastewater treatment systems, separating solids from liquids through gravitational sedimentation. As effluent enters these tanks, heavier particles like silt and sand settle at the bottom while clean water rises to the surface. This process effectively removes contaminants, ensuring that discharged water meets stringent environmental standards.
